The purpose of the Nutmeg Weimaraner Club is:

To educate owners on the merits of Weimaraners, and to help those owners develop the natural fine qualities of their Weimaraners.

To urge members and breeders to recognize and accept the Standard of the Breed, as approved by the American Kennel Club, as the only standard by which Weimaraners shall be judged.

To do all in our power to protect and advance the interests of the breed and to encourage sportsmanlike conduct at all performance events, such as dog shows, hunting tests, ratings, agility and obedience trials.
