Diesel

Center Harbor, NH

Jared Gumpert writes that Diesel joined the family this spring, at about 1 year of age.  Diesel weighs about 80 lbs, according to Jared, "it must be 80 lbs of atomic energy".  He loves getting his nose into things, but does not seem to mind "No!"  because his little tail wags every time he hears the word.  As a typical Weim, Diesel is always thinking, and it requires work to stay ahead of him; nothing he does is without a purpose.  He also loves doing his part of the house work, or at least picking up what ever you just put down and bringing it to you.  He LOVES to imitate people, especially when he plays.  A joy to have in the house, Diesel is making great progress in the obedience department, but even greater progress in the neighborhood cookie rounds. Diesel also enjoys long walks in the area, where is able to be off leash almost the entire time; he will go 10 miles before batting an eye.  The woods hold many new wonders for him, as he was a city dog... (he gets lost in all the sticks).  Diesel loves all people and dogs. Jared adds that, "Diesel may very well be a human in a dogs body, but he is definitely part of this family now."
